Does your child love animals? Little Vet School provides hands-on activities that will actively engage children as they learn how to take care of a pet and explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Throughout the week, students will use their stuffed dog to learn how take an assessment of their pet, care for wounds and stitches, and give their pet medication. They will learn what foods their pet needs to stay healthy, as those foods to avoid. Children will also learn about cat anatomy, cat body language, how to reduce their cat’s stress, and how to make a cat toy. Students will graduate at the end of the week and receive a diploma. Children must have completed kindergarten. Children may bring a peanut free snack and drink.
