Students will use the popular video game Minecraft to learn about electronic circuits, electricity and wiring in a fun, game filled environment. Redstone is a fictional element in Minecraft that can power all the things that your child creates - from doors, lamps, rail tracks to houses and much more. Students will learn the basics of powering their world using Redstone and learn to build amazing creations like password protected doors, a collapsing bridge, secret mazes and many other challenges that will get them thinking, learning and building! Along the way, your child will learn about electronic circuits, AND and OR gates, inverters, repeaters and much more! NOTE: Some basic knowledge of Minecraft is preferred, e.g., know how to use the keyboard to move your character around the screen, how to collect items, etc.
